The Allen Event Center will have a different name before the end of the month. Effective Oct. 15, the city’s convention center will be known as the Credit Union of Texas Event Center.

In return, CUTX will have naming rights over Allen Event Center’s main arena and other indoor and outdoor signage. CUTX will also be given a suite in the main arena for ticketed games.
