Anthony Davis had a message ahead of the highly anticipated showdown between his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Dallas Mavericks, marking Luka Doncic’s return to the American Airlines Center.

Anthony Davis is set to play against his former team in the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night in Dallas. The game also represents Luka Doncic’s return to Dallas after the shocking trade that came to fruition in February.

The Mavericks traded Davis and Maxi Kleber to the Lakers for Doncic, Max Christie, and a 2029 first-round pick. The 10-time All-Star then got injured in his first game for Dallas, a 116-105 home win over the Houston Rockets on Feb. 8. He returned against the Brooklyn Nets on March 24.
