Rochester, N. Y. (WHAM) – Saturday marked 50 years since the moon landing. People had the chance to see the half-scale model of Apollo 11 on the lawn of the Rochester Museum and Science center.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of NASA's Apollo 11 launch to the moon Tuesday (July 16), the U.S. Space and Rocket Center launched nearly 5,000 model rockets.
