When the Derek Carr/shoulder injury news broke, it fueled speculation that any team interested in Shedeur Sanders or another quarterback could jump in front of the New Orleans Saints, who pick one spot behind the Panthers at No. 9. But the Saints don’t seem to be in on Sanders, who could be in a for a Thursday night fall.

Panthers’ general manager Dan Morgan has done a lot of work this offseason to improve the team. Carolina’s efforts in 2025 have not gone unnoticed.
