With the threat of severe storms and flooding throughout the region, a number of Middle Tennessee school districts have canceled classes Thursday. Cheatham County Schools was among the first to close.

Cheatham County Schools told us they had no comment. The Lawsons are working through their insurance but said considering their property is not in a flood zone, they don’t have flood insurance.
