Chelsea are suddenly in deep trouble with their center forward position after a scan revealed Nicolas Jackson's hamstring injury is more severe than originally thought.The Telegraph's, Matt Law reported yesterday that Jackson's hamstring injury suffered in Chelsea's 2–1 win against West Ham United could sideline him until after March's international break.

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson will spend six to eight weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury but that does not guarantee Christopher Nkunku a spot in attack up front, coach Enzo Maresca said on Thursday.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has ruled out the possibility of signing a free agent to ease the club’s mounting injury crisis. The Italian warned Nicolas Jackson’s importance to the team will be demonstrated in his absence with the Senegal international ruled out until April with a hamstring injury.
