Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD has reported its revenue soared to a record $107 billion last year as its sales of battery electric and hybrid vehicles jumped 40%.

The Chinese automaker BYD surpassed Tesla in annual sales, recording a revenue of $107 billion in 2024, a 29% increase compared to the previous year, with 4.27 million vehicles delivered.

In fact, this Chinese firm just posted some huge financial numbers that put it ahead of Tesla. According to a report from the Associated Press, BYD just posted that it had 777.1 billion yuan in revenue last year,
