A road along Death Valley National Park is reopening almost two years after it was damaged. Emigrant Canyon Road has reopened following extensive repairs after a severe flash flood in August 2023.

At 6:04 p.m. on Tuesday, the NWS Las Vegas NV released a flash flood warning in effect until 9:15 p.m. for Inyo County.

Severe weather is expected to impact people across Southern Nevada on Tuesday. Thunderstorms and potential flash flooding are expected.
