A flash flood hit several barangays in San Jose Del Monte City, Bulacan on Friday afternoon, affecting hundreds of families.

KUMALARANG, Zamboanga del Sur (PIA) — Relief operations have been launched in this town following flash floods that struck affecting more than 1,300 families across several barangays.

The flash flood ravaged around 200 hectares of corn and orchard farms, according to barangay officials and personnel of the Magpet Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
