Emergency crews in southern California responded to a man whose vehicle was trapped by floodwaters. Powerful storms moved across California, bringing severe weather to the area.

Two people were rescued from a vehicle stuck in a flooded roadway on Sunday afternoon, according to the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department. Crews responded to West College Street under the train tracks after a truck carrying two people drove around two high water barriers and became stuck in the floodwaters.
