Houston weather shifts from sunny skies on Wednesday to storms carrying a serious flood risk, with heavier rainfall arriving by Thursday evening.
Crews were seen making repairs to the water main break, but no details have been shared. We're also told several cars and businesses were flooded as a result.
A flood watch will remain in effect for Fort Bend, Brazoria, Matagorda, Wharton, Jackson and Calhoun Counties until 7 p.m. unless canceled earlier by the National Weather Service. Expect rain throughout the day Friday with occasional thunderstorms and highs in the mid 70s.
