The National Weather Service ( NWS) Tsunami Alerts has confirmed that all forecast water levels are expected to remain below 1 foot, with the earliest arrival times in Puerto Rico within about one hour.

Earthquake in Caribbean triggers "tsunami threat" for Cuba, Honduras and Cayman Islands, officials say
The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude 7.6 earthquake occurred Saturday around 6:23 p.m. Eastern Time with an epicenter about 129 miles southwest of George Town, the capital of the Cayman Islands.
The quake struck at 6:23 p.m. local time in the middle of the sea and had a depth of 10 kilometers, the USGS said.
