The Jackson County Public Library board of trustees is scheduled to meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the Seymour library, 303 W. Second St.

The Jackson County Public Library will hold free programs in May for all ages in the Seymour Library meeting room and for teens at the Crothersville and Medora libraries.

The Jackson District Library is gearing up for the grand opening of its new branch. A celebration at the district’s new Hanover Branch is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at 137 W. Main St.
