Offering splendid walks, breathtaking views and a lighthouse, Talacre is a village in Flintshire, North Wales, nestled near the Point of Ayr on the western side of the River Dee estuary.

I lived on a lighthouse in west Wales from the age of 8 until I was 16, and I wanted to share those experiences. I'm not quite sure why I chose to tell this story to be honest with you.
