It was popular to have bright, bold colors, usually neon or jewel-toned ... shows off an image of themselves in a dark purple, bedazzled prom dress, complete with ruffles and a high-low skirt.

With prom season ... that black dresses are the early favorite in most states, with blue coming in at a close second. Many New Jersey teens, however, appear to be leaning toward purple for 2025.
