The river may reach around the moderate flood level (9.20 m) Wednesday afternoon. The Nepean River at Camden Weir is currently at 2.12 m and rising, below the minor flood level.

If you want to swim in the Yarra River, you can check the water quality to see if it’s safe. If you want to swim in the Nepean River, you can’t – and that’s a problem.
