New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson is expected to make his return to the court Tuesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves after missing the previous 27 games going into Tuesday night due to a left hamstring strain. The team has upgraded him to available after listing him as questionable following Monday’s practice.

It wasn’t enough though as the Pelicans fell to the Minnesota Timberwolves 104-97 Tuesday night at Smoothie King Center. The Pelicans (7-30) were hoping Williamson’s return could keep the momentum going from the past four days when the team won back-to-back games for just the second time this season.
