SAN FRANCISCO — The Giants’ groovy new City Connect jerseys, which aim to reflect San Francisco’s music history, will debut Tuesday night when they play the Cincinnati Reds. The Giants released images of the new jerseys Tuesday morning, noting that they were inspired by the psychedelic gig posters of the 1960s and the flow of lava lamps.

"San Francisco's music scene has always been a powerful expression of the city's soul, making this collaboration with Ghazi and EMPIRE a natural fit for the debut of our new City Connect uniform," Rachel Heit, the Giants' chief marketing officer, said in a statement.
