GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - The Pitt County Board of Commissioners voted on a firearm safety resolution on Monday urging residents to be responsible with firearm use and abide by current laws.

Pitt County officials are recommending a $414.7 million spending plan that outpaces the 2024-25 plan by about $17 million but holds the county’s property tax rate steady at 56.63 cents.
