The mild romantic lovers show the lowest intensity of romantic love, obsessive thinking, commitment and frequency of sex. They make up 20.02% of the population and are most commonly heterosexual men.

In further studies, researchers hope to find differences between men and women in their approach to love, and conduct a worldwide survey to identify different types of romantic lovers.
