Russian River camp resort opens this weekend The River Electric Resort and Swim Club in Guerneville is set to open Memorial Day weekend, featuring luxury tents, swimming pools, a bar and restaurant.

The 83-site Russian River Campground in Cooper Landing will remain closed from now through May but is expected to reopen in time for next summer’s sockeye salmon run.
