People in a neighborhood in Selmer, Tennessee have had their lives turned upside down. Everywhere you look there is destruction, and the high wind speeds threw the cars like toys, including one that sat in the middle of the remaining foundation of a house. That same house is where a woman was severely hurt.

Videos posted on social media show significant damage and downed trees in the city, making some roads impassable.

The National Weather Service confirmed that two large tornadoes had been on the ground in McNairy County just before 1 a.m. Thursday.
