NBA Western Conference finals have begun, with the No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder hosting the No. 6 seed Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 on Thursday night. The Thunder currently lead the series 1-0.

After a slow first half, the Thunder dominated the Timberwolves in the second half to collect a 114-88 Game 1 win on Tuesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 31 points and nine assists. Jalen Williams had 19 points and eight rebounds.

The SEC always does a good job of producing top NBA talent but Anthony Edwards and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are two of the top talents to emerge from the conference in recent years.
