The government of Cross River, says it has taken over the possession of the foremost Tinapa Business Resort following an agreement with the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).

The event took place at the Tinapa Free Zone Resort on Friday, December 20, 2024, reaffirming the commitment of Cross River State and Rinehooke Ltd to the project’s successful execution.

By the agreement, AMCON bought over Tinapa’s debts totalling N18.5bn. The first phase of Tinapa Business Resort & Free Zone was opened to the public on April 2, 2007.
