Several homes were damaged, with large trees crushing both houses and cars. Despite the destruction, there have been no injuries reported in both Henry and Coweta Counties.

NEWNAN, Ga. — A second tornado has been confirmed from Monday's line of severe thunderstorms in north Georgia and metro Atlanta. Meteorologists with the National Weather Service in Peachtree City confirm an EF-0 tornado touched down in Coweta County with maximum winds of 75 mph.

An EF-1 tornado touched down in Henry County just after 1 p.m. and an EF-0 tornado hit Coweta County just after 12:30 p.m. Late Tuesday, suveyers confirmed that a third tornado had touched down in Fayette County as well, but did not say exactly when.
