A local nonprofit is making sure seniors in the community are feeling the love this Valentines Day. Meals that Connect delivered cards that were handmade and donated by community members.

Senior Helpers, a local caregiving firm, delivered Valentine's cards and treats to senior living facilities across Metro Detroit on Friday.

Valentine’s Day is the holiday of love, but people in nursing homes don’t always get to celebrate with others. However, Friday morning a group of preschoolers made sure they did this year. Kids from Little Legends Learning Center came to Evergreen Senior Living in Champaign to give out valentines they made.
