Velka Lesna, which means big forest, has many things in common with East Douglas, which is surrounded by its own big forest: the Douglas State Forest. The similarities don’t stop there.

(The spellings may not be exact.) A 10-day tour to Slovakia that includes several days in Velka Lesna is planned for the summer. The dates are June 10 to 19.
