Folsom firefighters train for water rescues, prepping for emergencies in local water bodies as summer approaches.

The North Mankato Fire Department will be conducting cold water rescue training at Spring Lake Park at about 6:30 p.m.

The team was created when departments realized no one department in Union could effectively perform a water rescue alone.
