Algeria’s decision to reinstate visas on Moroccans, 'neither surprising nor out of the ordinary'
On September 26, Algeria announced the immediate reinstatement of visa requirements for all foreign nationals holding Moroccan passports. In a statement, Algeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs cited concerns that the previously established visa-free arrangement was being exploited to “undermine Algeria’s stability and national security.
