Animate is located at Preston's former indoor market area in the Harris Quarter. The attraction's first venue, the cafe-bar Argento Lounge, opens its doors on 5 February.

The 168K SF Animate is being built on Preston’s former indoor market site, a plot that has been a key regeneration priority for the city council for several years, Place North West reported.
