LONDON -- A bus carrying middle school children ran off a road down a steep embankment in southwest England and overturned Thursday, killing one student and seriously injuring two, police said. Three medical helicopters and 20 ambulances were sent to the scene and 21 people were taken to hospital, authorities said.

A school bus was involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Arleta late Wednesday morning that resulted in seven injuries, officials said. No children were on the bus. At about 10:34 a.m., the Los Angeles Police Department received a call regarding the crash off Terra Bella Street and Arleta Avenue in Arleta,
