Commerzbank to Meet UniCredit Tomorrow for Talks
Commerzbank CEO-designate Bettina Orlopp says she’ll meet with UniCredit on Friday. The Italian lender has a 21% stake in its German rival and said it may consider a takeover bid. Orlopp made the comments at a conference while also pledging to increase profitability and pay out more money in an effort to shore up investor support.
