Cedar Crest's boys basketball season ends with loss to Wilson in District 3 Class 6A opener
Saying goodbye was the hardest part for Cedar Crest coach Tom Smith. Smith had to make a solemn farewell speech to 10 seniors Tuesday night after Wilson defeated visiting Cedar Crest 50-41 in a District Three Class 6A first-round boys basketball game.
District 3 boys basketball: Exeter needs overtime to advance in Class 5A
Exeter (13-10) defeated Middletown (13-9) 60-53 at Exeter Township High School Gym in the first round of the PIAA District 3 Class 5A boys basketball championships. Exeter started the game on a 15-6 run led by Aidan Dauble’s 11 first quarter points. Jayden Ware was getting the offense going with three first half assists.
