407K Duke Energy customers get power restored while 285K others wait
About 95% of Duke customers in those counties are expected to have power back by Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Some customers should have power before then, while those who experienced severe flooding and damage may take longer. Impacted customers should expect updates from Duke Energy in the coming days.
More Than 1.3M Duke Carolinas Customers Without Power; Utilities Work on Florida Outages
Duke Energy Florida's outage map showed more than 304,000 customers were recently without power. As of 7:30 a.m., power had been restored for nearly 198,000 Duke Energy Florida customers overall, with 402,000 outages at that time. Tampa Electric's website indicated more than 44,000 customers were recently without power.
