With three drawings held each week, the Powerball lottery is more popular than ever! Countless Americans eagerly wait every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday to hear if they have the lucky ticket that could mean millions or even billions in prize money.

More than 450,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000, the lottery said.

The Connecticut Lottery player was one of seven Powerball players across the nation to win a prize totaling over $100,000 following the drawing, according to Powerball. The player initially won $50,000, and $100,000 was added to their winnings due to a Power Play. The odds of winning were one in over 913,000, according to the Powerball odds page.

Powerball drawings are held three times a week: every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET. The next drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. ET on Monday, Nov. 6.

Lottery sales ended fiscal year 2025 down about 3% and the estimated profit it generated was 8% lower than the year before, while players enjoyed the highest prize payout percentage on record.
