Former Oregon Ducks All-American and National Player of the Year Sabrina Ionescu's clutch free throws helped lead the defending WNBA champions New York Liberty over Caitlin Clark, Aaliyah Boston, and the Indiana Fever.

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever felt hard done by following a heartbreaking loss to the New York Liberty on Saturday. The Fever suffered their second defeat of the new WNBA season to split the first four games 2-2 as they were unable to overcome some late-game misfortune.

A pair of Ionescu free throws and a last-second (and controversial) steal from Natasha Cloud sealed the deal on the Liberty's thrilling 90-88 win.
