QUINCY - Jabrill Peppers, a safety for the New England Patriots, was found not guilty on all charges of domestic violence after he repeatedly denied those accusations while testifying in his own defense at his trial.

New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers was found “not guilty” on all assault charges on Friday, per Boston Herald’s Flint McColgan. Peppers was tried in front of a jury composed of five females and one male juror. After hearing the arguments, it took the jurors about an hour to deliberate before finally reaching a decision.

According to The Boston Globe, a jury found him not guilty of charges that he assaulted a woman in the early morning hours of Oct. 5. The 29-year-old safety faced charges of strangulation, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and assault and battery on a family or household memory.
