Princess Anne says she has no memory of the accident that put her in hospital with concussion last summer. It was believed to be caused by a horse, but the Princess Royal says she recalls "nothing" of the incident on her Gatcombe Park estate that led to a five-night hospital stay.

Princess Anne recently shared new insight into the incident last year that sent her to the hospital. The 74-year-old royal told the Press Association (PA) during a brief trip to South Africa this week that she remembers “nothing” from the June 2024 incident. The BBC published her new comments about her injuries in an article on Friday, Jan. 24.

The royal told the staff at Bristol’s Southmead Hospital that she doesn’t remember the details of her injury, adding “sadly, I don’t have huge memories of being in here either.”
