Above: No sign in Pennsylvania, so far, of Pacific Northwest-like takeover by CVS of some Rite Aid stores (WHTM) — Rite Aid has filed to close a third batch of stores as the company moves through its second bankruptcy.

Dozens of Rite Aid stores will close. The drugstore chain said that 68 stores will be closing, the company announced in a bankruptcy filing on May 9. The sixty-eight stores follow the initial list of 47 location closings, including eight stores in Pennsylvania.

The longtime drugstore chain announced the closure of 76 Pennsylvania outlets following a bankruptcy filing last week.
