Walmart's majority-owned fintech company OnePay has teamed up with Synchrony Financial to issue the retail giant's credit card, the consumer financial services company said on Monday, marking a return of a collaboration that ended in 2018.

Walmart-backed consumer fintech firm OnePay has joined forces with Synchrony to exclusively launch a new credit card programme for Walmart. Scheduled for release in the upcoming fall, the programme will be accessible through the OnePay app and supported by Mastercard's payment network,
