A former body guard for Sean Combs has filed a defamation lawsuit against a woman who in September accused him of physically and sexually assaulting her in 2001, NBC News reported.

Diddy’s legal ordeals over the last year related to his alleged sex crimes haven’t just impacted him. His former bodyguard is suing one of his rape accusers for defamation in response to her lawsuit involving him, per a report from Rolling Stone.

Joseph Sherman filed the defamation suit against Thalia Graves in New York federal court on Friday, with his attorneys calling Graves’ allegations “utterly false and untrue,” according to USA Today. Sherman’s legal team asserted that he worked with Combs only in 1999, years before the events alleged in Graves’ lawsuit.
