A 2.8 magnitude earthquake rattled parts of Virginia on Tuesday, around 5:30 p.m. The quake occurred a little over a half mile northeast of Wyndham, at a depth of 0.1 kilometers. Over 1,300 reports were made to the USGS, but no damage was reported.

A 2.3 magnitude earthquake struck near the Wyndham neighborhood for the second time in less than 12 hours. The second earthquake happened around 2:50 a.m. Wednesday. The first earthquake was a 2.8 magnitude quake that happened around 5:30 p.

No damage or injuries were reported from the small quake in central Virginia, but many people reported it to the U.S. Geological Survey.
