Marc Marquez secured victory after managing to best Alex Marquez after battling back up the field following a poor start which initially dropped the factory Ducati rider out of the top three.

Gold went the way of Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) despite a dramatic opening half a lap, but it was intense – and tense – behind as the Championship leader claimed his seventh Sprint victory of the season at Aragon.

It has really been Marc Marquez's weekend so far. Aside from a slip-up in Q2 which gave away pole position to Alex Marquez for a brief moment, the Spaniard hasn't looked under pressure from anyone during MotoGP’s Aragon Grand Prix weekend.
