Arizona lawmakers revealed a proposed bill that provides the framework of how the Arizona Diamondbacks can fund renovations at Chase Field.

The eight-member class of 2024-2025 to be inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame was announced on Thursday.

State House Rep. Jeff Weninger introduced House Bill 2074, which would create a guaranteed revenue stream to help the Diamondbacks fix up Chase Field.

Arizona lawmakers introduced a plan late Tuesday to shift sales and income tax revenues to help the Diamondbacks update their home ballpark.

Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill, Wildcats product Mike Bibby and soccer star Julie Ertz are part of the 2025 Arizona Sports Hall of Fame class.

At their Corbin Burnes introductory news conference, Diamondbacks team officials sounded more encouraged about finding funding for the ballpark.

The Diamondbacks might not have been able to follow up on their magical run to the World Series last year, but most of their core remains in 2025.
