Pat Perez Is Done Playing LIV Golf
Pat Perez may have been dropped by Dustin Johnson and the 4Aces for the 2025 season, but the former PGA Tour star is remaining with the LIV Golf setup in a new role
Pat Perez is joining the LIV Golf broadcast team as an on-course analyst this season. Perez, 48, previously competed in the league as a member of captain Dustin Johnson's 4Aces GC. He finished 48th in the LIV individual standings in 2024 and was replaced by Thomas Pieters for the upcoming season.
Pat Perez joined LIV Golf right after it launched in 2022 but has not found much success on the Saudi-backed circuit. He finished the 2024 season ranked 48th in the individual standings, barely out of the relegation zone,
Pat Perez is comfortable in front of a camera and holding a microphone, and now it's going to be his full-time gig for LIV Golf.
While maybe not the complete answer, Pat Perez, a former 4Aces, may be part of the solution. After three seasons playing in the LIV Golf League, 48-year-old Perez lost his playing privileges but will still be part of LIV as a part of the broadcast team during the 2025 season.
Pat Perez will be ditching the golf clubs for a mic in the upcoming LIV Golf season. The former 4Aces GC golfer will be joining the league as a golf commentator this year.
