Mitsubishi Motors North America is recalling nearly 200,000 Outlander and Outlander plug-in hybrid electric SUVs because of faulty software that could make their rearview cameras malfunction.

Nearly 200,000 Mitsubishi Outlander and Outlander PHEV SUVs are under recall because of a software problem that could lead to the rearview camera malfunctioning.

Mitsubishi is expanding a previous recall to include more than 198,900 Outlander and Outlander Plug-in Hybrid SUVs over a software issue that affects the rearview camera.
