A motorcyclist on the Blue Ridge Parkway fatally collided with a car turning into an overlook just before dusk Friday in Roanoke County, authorities said.

Developers broke ground on the mixed-use "Nonna" project this week at the southwest corner of Spokane Street and Fourth Avenue.
