The conference's chance to get two teams into the playoffs took a massive hit on Saturday, but BYU remained undefeated.

As of Nov. 11, the Liberty Bowl is the favored destination for the Commodores in bowl projections. The Memphis-based bowl would pit Vanderbilt against a Big 12 team. A representative from the Liberty Bowl was present for the game against the Gamecocks.

Three weeks remain in college football's regular season, and things continue to feel as delightfully messy as ever. The SEC could end up with anywhere from three to five teams in the College Football Playoff (though the CFP committee's most recent rankings suggest three or four is more likely than five).
