The man in costume stabbed the victim. The performer's costume head came off during the fight, a witness told police. The suspect appeared to be a man, possibly in his 20s, police say.

Police say around 8:50 pm. a street performer known to wear a costume of the "Star Wars" character Chewbacca – reportedly stabbed the victim with a knife after a verbal disagreement.
