The big tradition that is now a thing of the past is the student managers painting the helmets, because the coloring process is too complex. It’s a bummer, but certainly not a huge deal.

Lids For Kids Grangeville will offer free helmets for kids at Pioneer Park on Saturday, May 31, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. There will also be coloring activities for children.
